Experience
I take pride in my craft, and the quality of the software I ship matters deeply to me.
I have been coding since 2006 and started out as a professional web developer in the age of jQuery and Internet Explorer, with .NET Framework on the server.
For the past ten years, my focus has been backend engineering — writing scalable, maintainable and performant applications, reaching for the techniques that fit each specific problem.
Since the early period of my career I have been taking responsibility for build and deployment infrastructure, and have shipped pipelines on TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
In my spare time, I've tinkered with everything from compilers, machine learning and IoT to cloud and web development.
Below is a selection of my longer-running consultancy engagements. I tend to stay with the same clients for extended periods, learning the business and compounding value over time — though I've also done short, targeted work, such as introducing better developer tooling and workflows or helping teams survive Black Friday traffic peaks.
Software performance is still one of the most overlooked features.
Building AI agents and agentic workflows that deliver measurable business value for enterprise clients.
Led backend API development for mobile application. Built microservice architecture on Azure with .NET, Docker, and async patterns.
Took ownership of a large legacy e-commerce codebase. Drove modernization of development practices and tooling across the team and expansion to multiple markets.
Rebuilt the publisher's website on the latest Episerver Commerce stack with continuous delivery from day one.
Designed and built a self-publishing platform — professional book creation tools for independent authors.
Developer on coop.se — one of Sweden's largest food retail websites.
